Change Case of Text in Microsoft Excel

Published on: July 12, 2015

Welcome to the 13th Excel Tutorial where I show you how to use functions to change the case of text so that your spreadsheet shows what you want to see.

This tutorial covers the following three functions: upper(), lower(), and proper().

I have seen people struggle by manually changing the cases of texts so that their spreadsheet looks a certain way. Most people are unaware of these three basic functions. There is no formula to memorize and these functions only take one argument (parameter).
